5 Destinations to Book A Villa Holiday for Your Family

When we holiday abroad, we always opt to stay all inclusive. Whilst this can perfect for families with young children as you have everything you need on site, sometimes it can feel like you are missing out on really seeing and exploring the country you have chosen to visit for this exact reason. It was said to us many years ago that sometimes, you could be anywhere in the world if you are on an all inclusive holiday and never leave the resort and this is true.

There are many different options now when travelling abroad that allows you to fully explore your destination at your own pace and how you want to. Booking a villa holiday gives you that freedom whilst also allowing you and your family to have a home from home.  From villa’s with pools to beautiful views, you can have your stay completely tailored to you and your family to get the most from your stay.

Booking A Villa Holiday? Why not Visit One of These 5 Destinations with your Family!

A Phuket Villa Holiday.

At first glance,  booking a villa in Phuket may not be your first choice when looking at holidaying with children. But it is definitely worth considering. From spending a day riding the waves a Surf House Phuket to having some more water fun at Splash Jungle Water Park. Or maybe you prefer fun on dry land? If so, you can visit Patong Go-Kart Speedway or maybe release your adventurous side at Flying Hanuman. There are plenty of places to explore in Phuket for the whole family.

Florida, USA.

We all know Florida is a great place to visit with children, but booking a family-friendly villa allows you to have somewhere to escape to at the end of the day to relax and recharge your batteries. Of course, you have Walt Disney World to visit but what about other places to visit and explore?

You can check out NASA Kenedy Space Centre, Sugar Sand Park or maybe just take in the beauty of the coastline on one of the many beaches. There is so much to explore in Florida, you definitely won’t get bored during your stay!

New Zealand.

I have always wanted to visit New Zealand. Booking a villa holiday here would give you a great base to be able to explore the country. From taking in the winter sports scene in Wanaka and Queenstown to discovering some beautiful beaches along the expansive coastline. To discovering everything Wellington has to offer and visiting the International Antarctic Centre, there is plenty to do for all the family to really get the most out of your visit.

Japan.

Now, I know this may not be a destination you have considered. But there is so much to see and experience in Japan for the whole family it would be a shame to not . From not one but two Disney parks to Ueno Zoo and The Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. I have to admit to not having thought of visiting Japan with children but there is so much to do you will quite literally be spoilt for choice when out and exploring everything the country has to offer.

Canada.

Another one of my wishlist countries. I have wanted to visit Canada for so long and booking a villa holiday rental home for your stay seems like the best idea when visiting with children.

Niagara Falls is an absolute must if you are visiting Canada, as are the many museums the country has to offer depending on where you are choosing to stay. Granville Island, British Columbia is home to the Kid’s Market or you can choose to visit the Cape Churchill Wildlife Management Area to snap pictures of polar bears or beluga whales.

Are you looking at booking a villa holiday this year? Which destination are you visiting or considering?

Love Canada. Your photos are beautiful. I am not sure if I would want to take young children on such long-haul holidays, but hopefully they’d sleep on the plane. These destinations look amazing and to be able to travel far away nowadays is so advantageous to a child’s education.

We often have a bit of a nightmare finding a good place for our big family so there are some very useful tips here. Finding somewhere family friendly is always a must, but you need something for the adults.
