Gravitate Nutrition & Me
Wednesday, June 1st, 2016. A new day, a new month. The 1st day of the month that heralds the end of the first part of the year and another chance to wipe the slate clean and start all over again. After getting into my groove with working out, April saw it all fall apart. So ever since I have been kidding myself that is isn’t that bad. But it is. It has been and you know what, that’s not OK with me. So this is my Gravitate Nutrition & Me story.
So I am wiping that slate clean. Dusting off the cobwebs and getting back in the groove. In exactly 6 weeks I will be hitting my mid 30’s *sob* and I refuse point blank to be hitting my highest and unhealthiest weight ever. This is where Gravitate Nutrition comes in. They are kindly allowing me to try out their 30 Day Weight Loss Starter Kit to help me get my diet back under control whilst I get reacquainted with my trainers and get back to working out more frequently again. So let’s have a look at what is in the starter pack and what I can expect to be taking over the next 30 days.
Gravitate Nutrition & Me.
Gravitate 30 day Weight Loss Starter Kit is a 30 day supply of Supersculpt and a 30 day supply of DietVits. The Supersculpt capsules contain 500mg Glucomannan each and the DietVits contain all the vitamins and nutrients you need to help keep you healthy and to make sure nothing is lacking from your diet. All ingredients are 100% natural, stimulant free and have no side effects. They are also approved by the diet pills comparison site, being ranked second in their top five diet pills!
Glucomannan is a natural fibre found in the root of the konjac plant and is clinically proven to help with weight loss by suppressing your appetite and making you feel full. It does this in two ways. Firstly, it fills your digestive tract by swelling up and secondly, glucomannan can slow down the rate at which sugars and carbohydrates are absorbed through the gut.
I am writing this post after a few days taking the supplements. So this is just my initial impressions. I have also been incorporating meal replacement shakes into my diet to help me get my cravings and over indulgence under control. The first day I was finding I was still hungry in the day. However, this has worn off quite quickly and if I am really busy I don’t really notice or find myself wanting to eat.
The hunger I think may have been down to the shakes too. I have managed to cut out my afternoon sugar fest. And I’m also finding I don’t really need that boost but the evening one is proving a little bit trickier. But I still want to eat. I’m not hungry, I know I’m not but my head still tells me I want to eat, a lot. That being said I’m not eating as much at all during the day and I’m making conscious efforts to include more fruit and veg in my diet. Easier now I am back working in a greengrocers that’s for sure.
Also, I think that taking the supplements correctly, 1 hour before food 3 times a day, with 1 or 2 glasses of water is the trick. So all in all a positive few days and I seem to be getting back on the right track.
Do not skimp on the water. Take the tablets exactly how they are designed to be taken to get the maximum benefit. You need to be prepared and plan ahead especially if you have a busy day. This means if you are out and about taking a bottle of water with you is a must. If you can, plan your meal times.
For example, in work, I know I have lunch at 12pm. With a bottle of water in my bag, I take the supersculpt capsule at 11 am. Then I take my 3rd one as I finish work at 5 pm ready for when I get home. It’s a 15 mins walk and around half an hour to cook after debating/trying to find something I want. I take my first one as soon as I open my eyes. Yes, I am one of those people that can (and will) eat as soon as I wake up. It’s also easier take my multivit tablet at breakfast so it is done for the day.
Wish me luck and I will catch up with you all on the other side of the 30 days. Fingers crossed for some amazing results.
