Saving Kiranthia is my new fantasy fiction series based on the, well saving Kiranthia. Fearless warrior Arkaya has cast her spell and has all her corners but whilst she is sleeping in, well wherever they are, something is happening. Someone is there and they really aren’t alone! I hope you have enjoyed the season so far. At the time of writing this part, I have no idea how far this will go and where it is taking me but I really hope you come back and enjoy the ride! Previous parts can be found in the Saving Kiranthia Series.
Saving Kiranthia. The 4 Corners.
Ariel eyed the woman at her feet suspiciously. Whoever she was must have consumed great power to be able to summon her here. But why? She had her own issues, her own fights and her own teenage triplets who would be so pissed with her when they awoke to find her gone less than 48 hours after arriving. Jonny would have to explain this one. But whatever it was it best be a damn good bloody reason for dragging her here, wherever here was!
But who was this woman before her? The one who summoned her here. She looked oddly familiar, Ariel couldn’t quite put her finger on how or why but she felt like she knew her. Or at least, she should know her. Lying there on the ground, so vulnerable, the woman looked at peace. Like she was smiling almost. Ariel smiled back at her. Whatever this woman needed, Ariel knew it must be important to summon not only herself but these other women too. Letting go of the suspicion and annoyance, Ariel lowered herself to the floor to keep the woman company. She needed the rest and it looked like, for now anyway she wasn’t going anywhere.
Ginny glanced at the 2 girls flanking her on both sides. Both pretty preppy princesses she thought to herself. What the hell is going on here. I’ve been to hell and it was a damn sight better than this and more welcoming. She smiled as she remembered exactly how welcoming hell had been all those years back. If people were dropping dead at her feet she wanted it to be because she put them there not because they near on killed themselves doing whatever this was this person had just done.
And who was she anyway?
Ginny had been around for a long time now, She had pursued James, her love, her life throughout all those centuries and finally, she had him. She was seething she had been ripped from him and now of all times. His coven was still tracking him, them and him being away from her would make him more vulnerable. Whatever this person wanted, she was out of luck. She had called upon the wrong demon this time. She just needed to figure out a way home and fast.
Diana crouched down to check the stranger was OK. She was still breathing for now. She appeared to have fallen asleep, drained by whatever power had brought her, and these other women here. So she sat and she watched and she listened to her new companions as they processed the sight before them.
She had known this would happen. Her seer and witches had told her something was coming. After defeating her father and taking control of Demenia, Diana hoped her world would be fine whilst she was gone fighting off whatever threat had possessed this woman to do what she had nearly died just putting into action.
She looked at her companions, studying them closely.
The dark-haired beauty was truly breathtaking. She looked like a god with her flawless skin and now her initial reservations had left her, she had relaxed and settled on the ground next to the sleeping warrior. Diana was pretty sure she knew who she was, but it would take some power to bring Ariel here. The woman was a legend amongst those in the know and had, more than once, saved her world from decimation at the hands of the war. If she was right, and that was actually Ariel, this could only mean one thing.
The flame-haired fiery demon, Diana could sense it as soon as she saw her, was still angrily raging around them. Back and forth, back and forth. She had still to make eye contact and acknowledge her peers but that was to be expected. No doubt trying to figure out how to leave, but as none of them knew exactly where they were, she, like herself and the others was quite simply stuck.
And there they stayed, waiting.
For the woman to wake from her slumber. For some clue or inkling of what was going on. Time, it would seem was irrelevant. Suspended in a place that was neither here or there. No walls, no limits, no, well anything. Like a dream sequence in a cheesy film where those whose lives were hanging in the balance met loved ones who gave them words of wisdom before sending them back to continue with their lives.
It was eerily creepy, yet oddly calming aside from the redhead who was still pacing and emitting little flames of fire to demonstrate her ire at the whole debacle, But still, the 3 remained close to Arkaya. And Johann watched them. They were in his world now and Arkaya had done a fine job in bringing them to him. Not that she would have been aware but he had been here for many millennia waiting for them all to come and save everything he had presided over for all this time.
But he wouldn’t startle them. Not now. There was still time. He had suspended Arkaya in her slumber. Her body and soul was destroyed by the spell. He was in awe of her power she was a true Pricana warrior and he was humbled by her. But for now, she needed to rest. Repair herself. And the others, well they couldn’t leave a place if they didn’t know where they were, could they? Johann bowed his head. Eyes closed and turned his body away from the group. They could wait.
