*Review* Nougat Naturals Refining Body Scrub and Nourishing Hand Cream

So this month I got some fabulous goodies in the post to try out from Nougat Beauty. Part of the Nougat London brand, the range now includes toiletries products as well as their gorgeous clothing range.

Their new range is available for men and women and includes gift packs, travel size products and home fragrances too.

I received the Refining Body Scrub RRP: £18 and the Nourishing Hand Cream RRP: £14 from their Naturals Range.

They arrived all wrapped up in tissue paper inside a sturdy cardboard box, so anyone worried about receiving damaged products needn’t be with Nougat. They arrived all safe, sound and secure which is great! To give the products a good, fair review I have been using them for almost 2 weeks before reviewing them as you need to give products like this more than one or two uses before rating or slating them am I right?

I always use an ex-foliating scrub on my face but very rarely on my body which is surprising seeing as I do have really dry skin especially on my legs. Needless to say I was curious to see if this scrub could help me out. I was surprised, pleasantly surprised. The clear gel contained tiny beads to gently ex-foliate my skin to get rid of dull skin. It felt lovely on my skin and lathered up really well, as a result you really don’t need a lot of it making it last all that bit longer which is always a plus in my mind! I concentrated on the driest parts of my body, knees, elbows, ankles and the front of my legs which can get really dry just above the ankles. Also I had no allergic reaction which is also a plus for me as I very rarely change my toiletries due to overly sensitive skin, result!

Body Scrub

My skin felt so soft and smooth afterwards I was shocked at how much of a difference just using a body scrub alone could make. Even after just the one use my skin looked and felt smoother and healthier than it had in a long time. Although my legs did still need moisturising after the shower my arms no where else felt like it did. As I have continued using the scrub my skin has really benefited and I love using it daily too it makes me feel like I am actually doing something good for my skin and a great product for the summer when we all end showing off more flesh than usual.

Onto the hand cream, what to say! Well, as I work in retail my hands get really, really, really dry! What with handling money, cardboard, constant washing and generally being abused this hand cream had it’s work cut out as my hands really do take a lot of bashing and are constantly dry and rough. Could it help? Would it win me over? Nothing else has ever before despite claims to the contrary.

Hand Cream

And…….. my hands love it! I mean seriously love it and I do too! I can’t stop putting it on, it is in my handbag for work and I use it all the time. My hands feel so soft and smooth even around the nail and cuticle area. The cream is a little bit on the greasy side if you put too much on (which I do) but it absorbs really well and I am actually leaning towards making it my winter hand cream go-to.
smooth and soft hands
Now products like this don’t come cheap and are slightly out of my price range, well a lot if I am honest, but I would have no problems buying them as a present for someone, I actually have a sister who would absolutely love these products so I can see me buying them in the gift sets for future birthdays and Christmases or maybe cheekily putting them on my own Christmas wishlist 😉

  1. Oh the hand cream sounds divine, my hands are always dry and sore from too many post-nappy washes! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested

  2. Love the packaging and name of these products. I was initially fooled into thinking they were bars of real nougat. It sounds as though I could do with both products.
