Half Term Day 4

It’s Thursday.
I have an easy day today as Olivia had plans to visit her friends house.
We started off the morning in bed watching Monster High 13 Wishes as Olivia felt a bit under the weather partly due to an oncoming cold and somewhat to do with the fact that we ave been on the go all week and she hasn’t had as much sleep as I would of liked her to have had.
I took her breakfast in bed and we just relaxed, she had cheerios, I had frosties. We didn’t move till about half 10 as my sister asked me to have my baby nephew for the day.  Always the way with me, I send Olivia off for the day and gain a niece or nephew. Not that I minded he’s such a joy to have.
There’s not really much to write home about today I spent the day with a 5 month old little man who was full of cold whilst Olivia had so much fun at her friends house.
Her friends mum is the mum we all aspire to be, raising her 3 kids, working part time, clean tidy, organised house (this is were I am most jealous not sure my house is ever classed as tidy!) and she still has time to do arts, crafts, day trips, and is so nice as well damn her! She could totally teach me a thing or 10 bout being an accomplished grown up.
Little miss didn’t come home until half past 6 as she stayed for lunch and dinner. They made lunch, 3 days on the run for pizza, afternoon activities included making bookmarks, wool spiders, play doh shapes and a game of monster high dolls! Followed by an evening dinner of tuna pasta. Boy have I been shown up (note to self must try harder!)
So much more of a relaxed day for me as my little man went home at half 4 and Olivia didn’t come home till gone half 6. She always enjoys visiting her friend and I always enjoy her going as she has so much fun.
So that was Thursday and I can tell you now that I’m almost burnt out and ready to go back to work, I said almost………
Spread the love
