Half Term Day 2 Part 1

Monday night I decided to have a look at our local cinemas and see what type of kids films they were showing this half term.
Incase your not familiar, cinemas run screenings of childrens/family films at a reduced price. These are usually at an early morning showing on saturdays and sundays and every day during school holidays. We are lucky that we have the choice of 3 cinemas local to us. Vue cinemas kids am showings are £1.75 per person. Odeon cinemas are £2.50 each and our choice for today Light cinema’s family am is £3.00 each.
Light Cinema New Brighton, Wirral
The films are generally older ones but not too old usually ones that have just finished their run on the big screen. The first one I ever took Olivia too was the Princess and the Frog and as its especially for kids no need to worry if they get restless or need to go to the loo frequently.
Today we went to see Disneys Frozen Singalong.
Olivia has already been to see this but I hadn’t made it. So as it was the singalong version I decided to take her back and see what all the fuss was about!
OMG! I loved it! I wanted to see it again as soon as it had finished, I am a massive Disney fan but this is my new favourite for sure.
It is definitely worth going to see if thats your type of film and if its on a kids showing even better!
Olivia loved the singalong version belting out all the songs when the words came on screen and we both had a little tear in our eyes at the end, not as bad as toy story 3 that was a complete sobfest, but heart warming all the same.
Will you be taking a trip to the cinema this half term? Are you going for a cheap family option or all out for Lego movie or the latest Tinkerbell offering (another one of my favourites)
Spread the love
