Half Term Activities

This week is half term week and I booked my post christmas week off to coincide with it so I could spend some quality time with Olivia. The only issue is we both have completely different ideas as to how to spend it!

My plans:

  1. Reading
  2. Comping
  3. Blogging
  4. Growing roots on the sofa
  5. Sleeping.

Olivias plans:

  1. Going on the ferry
  2. Visiting a local indoor play area
  3. Making cakes
  4. Arts and crafts
  5. Sleepovers
  6. Visiting friends
  7. Playing board games

So as you can see we are going to have to compromise somewhat this week. Leaving work today I picked a book we had in to give us some yummy baking ideas, so that is one day in sorted. I have also arranged with a few mums from school who are also off work this week to meet up with kids hopefully outside if its dry maybe the park. If the weather changes I will look into a day out on the Mersey as Mersey Ferries have some great offers for all 3 attractions for a lovely day out on the famous ferry, the u-boat story and the amazing space port.
The thing I am least looking forward to is the sleepovers, kind of ironic as there is usually a severe lack of sleep involved in these things!

Do you have any plans for half term?
