Olivia’s Half Term Outfit Round Up
Outfit Round Up.
This week Olivia has been off school for half term. As it happened she ended up staying with my sister and her dad during the middle of the week due to me being in work but we had a lovely start to the week with a joint christening/birthday party on Sunday and a Bank Holiday BBQ at my mums on Monday. We also had am amazing day out on Friday when we were back in Manchester again, this time at intu Trafford Centre for a fun day out at Chill Factore and La Tasca. Olivia is taking part in their kids guide to eating at the restaurants and was asked to give her verdict on the kids menu at La Tasca. This was actually harder than it sounds due to her being wiped out from all the snow fun and basically just being really cranky! Oh, the joys, what is it they say about never working with kids and animals……….
On the up side she has been getting some wear out of her non school clothes side of the wardrobe so I’m going to share with you my favourite outfits of the week.
First up is the christening/birthday party outfit. She chose to wear a dress she got for her birthday. From George at Asda in age 11-12 she got this off a family friend. She paired it with her coral coloured wedges in a size 4. She got these off my sister as they were too small for my niece.
Next up is Monday’s outfit of choice for the big summer BBQ. The shoes came out again teamed with her denim shorts and a cute little t-shirts I picked up from a local discount stall for £3. It is age 12-13 and originally from F&F.
Lastly, and my favourite outfit is what Olivia chose to wear to go and see the new Alice in Wonderland film with her dad at the Light Cinema in New Brighton. She met me from work in the afternoon and we ended up in Primark. You can see where this is going can’t you! I found a cute Alice t-shirt in the ladies section. £6 in a size 6 it’s a great fit and my sister lent her my niece’s tutu to wear with it. Olivia was made up when she also said she could have these sandals as they no longer fit her cousin. The skirt is just on loan though and is a Primark one too.
That’s it for us this week. What have your little ones been wearing this week?
