Non Uniform Day #OOTD

Another non-uniform day for Olivia this week. A Friday thankfully this time, it was randomly a Thursday the other week?!?! This time it was in aid of the Easter School fair.

For the luxury of being able to send them in in an outfit of their (or your) choosing, you are blackmailed (yes it totally is blackmail) into donating something to the school. This time it was an Easter themed sweet or chocolate item of your choice AND the option of buying raffle tickets too, lucky us! While I’m on the subject of

While I’m on the subject of non-uniform days. Does anyone else get a little bit emotional when they see kids going to school in their uniform on non-uniform day? It makes me so sad for some reason, mind you I did forget one time when she was in F1 doing afternoons but luckily had been shopping so got her changed before she went in, oops!

What Did Olivia Wear for Non-Uniform Day?

Olivia had her outfit picked and laid out on the sofa from Wednesday morning. Yes you guessed it, instead of getting ready for school on Wednesday she was getting ready for Friday’s kid’s hey! She was so proud of herself for actually picking an outfit that matched. I even agreed to let her be seen out in public in.

She went with her camel jeggings. I had actually forgotten she had them as they were a bit too long in the leg when my sister bought her them. They are age 12-13 and from Matalan. She teamed it with a cute little ‘tea party’ t-shirt we picked up at a charity shop for £1 age 11-12. Turned out my niece had the same one too, they are like twins with their wardrobes lately. On her feet she popped on her Adidas pumps her dad got her which went quite well and perfect for school too.

On the day whilst I was rummaging around in the cupboard under the stairs I came across a cardigan. One of my sisters got her it for her birthday last year and it still fits so she threw that on too. It’s from Very and age 11-12. Not forgetting the pink handbag we got before Christmas for £5 when she went shopping with her Osper card.

With a quick bit of posing before school and she was ready to go with her smarties Easter egg and money for raffle tickets as payment! I think she done well, what do you think?

  1. She did well putting that together, looks fab! My eldest is only at nursery but we already have the whole blackmail thing going on there, although thankfully not on a big scale – I dread when she actually starts school and we get bombarded with it! x

  3. I used to love non uniform day at school but the fashion was slightly different back then even if it was only 5+ years ago. I love this outfit, very eastery/spring colours #weekendtotstyle
