A Luxury Birthday Wishlist with Xupes
This past week we have just celebrated my mums 60th birthday. She is now of bus-pass age and it’s safe to say she got suitably spoilt. With 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren, it takes a lot of work into managing to all get her different and unique gifts especially the kind that comes with mum or nanny emblazoned on it! I hope we managed to get some items off any birthday wishlist she might have had (and didn’t tell us about!)
In honour of this special birthday, we threw a surprise party and showered her in a whole range of gifts from jewellery, to garden furniture, clothes for our upcoming holiday which is also to celebrate her 60th, and much much more.
But this got me thinking, what kind of things would be on my birthday wishlist for a big birthday. After all, my 40th is getting ever closer as I continue to free fall through the remaining years of my 30’s one grey hair at a time. I do like the finer things in life and I may have a small obsession (not really so small) with designer handbags and watches. This is partly thanks to spending my early 20’s working for an upmarket high street jewellers and being trained in selling luxury watches!
If like me, you can’t afford a new designer and luxury item, there are places where you can buy pre-owned luxury watches, jewellery and handbags to make it easier to afford luxury items. Xupes is one of those places. They have so many of the brands I am currently coveting should I ever win the lottery!
Tracey’s Luxury Birthday Wishlist.
It’s been years since I wore a watch. But I do love watches thanks to my training in years gone by. At Xupes you can browse a wide range of beautiful timepieces including pre-owned Breitling watches. I love this Starliner Mother of Pearl dial model.
Oh my, Where do I start with handbags? I already have so many, yet I don’t quite have enough. I would love a designer bag to call my own though. Maybe one like this Hermès Gris Tourterelle Togo Leather Birkin.
I love jewellery. I feel like the right piece can really make an outfit, can’t it! Bracelets are my absolute favourite items though. Nice and big so you can see the design. Like this gorgeous piece from Carla Amorim on Xupes. I’m not usually a fan of yellow gold but the detail on this is stunning.
In complete contrast, I like my necklaces and rings to be smaller and understated. Less is more for me. This necklace by Chopard is so pretty with it’s 0.17ct diamonds set in 18K WhiteGold just like the beautiful Cartier ring. Just enough bling for me!
So what do you think of my luxury birthday wishlist? Any pieces catch your eye? What would you choose for your luxury birthday wishlist? Have you ever bought pre-owned jewellery before? Let me know in the comments.
